Services
Home can be anywhere; what makes it home is that it is where you choose to be.

"Thank you for your help. Your services were above our expectations." – D. B. Bethesda, MD
You have the right to be in a familiar and comfortable place with caring family members. Care at home promotes feelings of independence and self esteem. It maximizes the continuing involvement of family members. Most important, the one-on-one relationship with the professional caregiver allows for the care to be customized to best meet individual needs. That is why we have dedicated ourselves to helping people cope with their daily needs in their own homes.
CarePlus is committed to placing hourly and live-in caregivers who deliver a wide range of personal care options that help clients retain as much control and autonomy as possible. Our goal is to see that our clients’ needs are respected – from physical and practical support to mental and emotional stimulation. We are live-in experts. CarePlus places professional caregivers who are prepared to offer their services from 4 to 24 hours a day, seven days a week on a part-time, full-time, respite or as needed basis. With CarePlus, you can be assured of reliability, diligence, and credibility. Our clientele are a testament to our personalized attention and incomparable customer service.
Some of the services you can expect our caregivers to
provide include the following Activities of Daily Living (ADL):
Bathing
Whether it’s a shower, full bath, bed bath, or partial bath, our caregivers are sensitive to your specific needs and requests.
Dressing
Using proper techniques, some patience and the assistance of a professional caregiver, dressing becomes much more manageable and eases this burden of a seemingly simple task.
Meal Preparation
A solution to the problems seniors often have in preparing healthy meals is to have a dedicated home care professional do the cooking for them. Caregivers can mitigate this challenge and much more with our meal preparation service.
Personal Hygiene & Incontinence Care
Since the nature of this very personal task can be embarrassing, many people prefer a professional caregiver to do it rather than a family member. Professional Caregivers receive training to perform this and other personal care tasks, reducing the
anxiety associated with them.
In addition to the above list of Activities of Daily Living (ADL), our caregivers
provide additional assistance and services such as those described below:
Grocery Shopping
Our caregivers will be able to help you write the grocery list, keep an inventory of food and supplies you need, go with you to the grocery store or if you’re not able to go, they can go by themselves and put the groceries away.
Light Housekeeping & Laundry
Caregivers will clean the areas you use including your bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. They will clean dishes, vacuum and dust, retrieve mail and many other everyday household tasks including washing clothes and linens.
Range of Motion Exercises
Our caregivers will pick up where your physical therapist leaves off to ensure continued improvement in strength, movement and mobility.
Medication Reminders
An in-home caregiver can provide friendly and helpful reminders of which medications their senior client needs to take and when.
Transportation and Appointment Escorts
If you need transportation for a doctor, dentist, therapy or any other appointment, your caregiver may be able to drive you or accompany you to the appointment.
Full Time Live-In Support
We hire only the best because your loved one deserves nothing less. Our 24 hour one-on-one support is the highest quality of care that can be given. Each of our professional caregivers develop a relationship with his or her client, which enables the caregiver to customize the care provided to specifically address the individual needs of your loved one in a compassionate and dignified manner.
Help with Special Needs
Our experienced caregivers go through regular, ongoing training seminars specifically designed to prepare them to recognize and meet the unique challenges which face our seniors today.
Maintenance of a Safe and Healthy Environment
Caregivers can make the home an overall safer environment by mitigating common household dangers. A caring professional caregiver will go beyond the daily tasks associated with keeping a neat and tidy home to initiate preventative measures to ensure the safety of your loved one in his or her home.
Respite Care
A respite caregiver can afford you the time to deal with your own personal needs by sharing in the everyday responsibilities of caring for your loved one.
Companionship
Did you know that senior citizens who are not actively connected in social settings are statistically nearly twice as likely to die as socially connected elders? Social interaction is an essential part of leading a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle.
